I’m planning my trip to Nepal and I’m curious, how much is the Manaslu Circuit (food, accommodation, guide, porter, tips, included). Thank you in advance for your advice.

I am in Kathmandu and i would like to go to Nagarkot to see the sunrise tomorrow or day after? What are my options? Are there buses that go early in the morning to go catch the sunrise from here? I already went and saw rest of Bhaktapur today! Please advise! Taxi would be too expensive and i already have hotel stays booked in Kathmandu for the next few days.

I am curious If there is a bus that takes one to Syabrubesi, to the beginnings of the Lang Tang Valley trek and Tamang Heritage trail. Also, if I wanted to start with Tamang Heritage is it possible that this can lead into the Lang Tang Valley. I will look further into this but wanted to start here.

I am driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu tomorrow and have 1 extra day left. Is there any nice place to stay or visit in between these cities or should I just spend my extra day in Kathmandu?

As a solo trekker I was going to plan about 4-6 extra days into my itinerary for weather/rest/side trips/aligning with new friends. I’ve been making lists of alternates/side trips/etc and often traveling I learn something new and then want to explore that.

If the new guide rules happen, will there be guides (or porter if that’s allowed) who will be flexible? For example, I’m booking someone for 20-25 days with various possibilities of routes?

Can I still pick my tea house? Or have a lunch nap? Or start before dawn?

I don’t have a problem putting more money into the Nepali economy, but giving up the flexibility and choice would be really sad.

Can we expect more information on how much the hired guides must “guide” you?

If I am forced to have a guide then I would expect the following:

Full upfront price, none of the tipping garbage as I dislike the pressure of tips and what is reasonable..

A guide review process with legit customer feedback that isn’t filled with dodgy scam reviews.

A feedback and complaints process to get refunds if the guide is not providing the service I request..

Some transparency about what they earn by taking you to certain accommodation and food places, rather than the option you would like..

A law against tourist being constantly hounded by so called guides in Kathmandu and other cities – as it can spoil the tourist experience..

I’ve decided on the flight to Pokhara instead of the bus from Kathmandu because of the construction. Starting my trek in Chame for the Annapurna Circuit. What are the road conditions like from Pokhara to Besisahar and then to Chame?

Need some advice…great places to eat in Kathmandu. Will be there a few days before heading to EBC. Want to experience great local food and any other places I should eat at.

I’m going to do ABC in the middle of March alone without guide, I’m worried if there are too many hiker due to peak season. Does anyone know or suggest shall I make a booking for accommodation along the way or it’s unnecessary.
