Yep, fine not to book if it’s just you. Larger groups should book.
If you have a guide or porter they will easily be able to help you find the available accommodation.

If you hire a guide and porter usually the porter will be ahead of you and find the teahouse
as you will be just one you should have no problem finding accommodation. How will you find your guide, care is required??
Not necessary, if things start to look questionable you can either have your porter-guide to call ahead or send him ahead to reserve room. Usually there are rooms for everybody.
